Process
Step 1
Please read the Features page, Terms page and the FAQ page to get more information about the service provided by WebsiteTools.Biz and decide on the account that you would like to order.
Step 2
Search for and register a domain using our Domain Registration Service. You will need to enter your domain name in the order form when you sign up. You will also be credited $12 domain registration fee for 1 year from the one-time startup fee.
Step 3
Plan your website by creating a list of the web pages that you need created and identify any special features that you might need. Contact us about the special features so we can confirm whether they can be provided or not, including letting us know if you need to use a merchant account other then PayPal or Authorize.Net so we can see if we can support it.
Step 4
Order the account that you need and make sure to be specific when entering in the details about the website you need to be built.
Step 5
Your account manager will contact you and you will work together to build your website to your specifications. You start by building the homepage and then if needed the web page template to be used by the rest of the web pages. After the homepage and page template are built, then you will build each of the web pages that you need.
Step 6
If you ordered the Optional Search Engine Submission Service you will be provided with suggestions for your websites title, description and keywords. You will also be provided suggestions on how to optimize your website to get ranked better at search engines like Google.
Step 7
If you ordered the Optional Secure Shopping Cart Service you will work with your account manager to customize the shopping cart to your business's needs. You will need to provide any sales tax information that you might need to charge and plan on how you will ship your items. Once the cart is configured you will be responsible to test it by performing a few purchases to make sure it works as you need it. When the cart is finished being customized you can then add your inventory.
Step 8
You will need to check each page and function and confirm everything works as you need it to. You will be responsible for the testing of any features that might need testing. Once you are happy with your website then you are ready to open for business. You can contact your account manager any time if you have any questions, suggestions or problems.
